To prepare to teach this lesson, load the PowerPoint file onto your computer. Print off the pdf file as your lesson plan. From that you will need the following copies:
  • pages 10-11-Class set front and back
  • pages 12-13-one for each student-do 12 on front and 13 on back.
  • pages 14-15-Class set front and back

5.1f (7th Grade): Use reference features of printed text, such as citations, endnotes, and bibliographies to locate relevant information about a topic.





5.1d (6th & 8th Grade) 5.1e (7th Grade): Note instances of persuasion, propaganda, and faulty reasoning in text.
